Yes, a name change can be made on a Member's merchant account. If you are a sole-proprietor name change requests must be submitted on your company letterhead, signed and dated along with updated banking information (if applicable.) Corporations, LLCs, Nonprofits and Partnerships can change their DBA name by submitting a request on company letterhead, signed and dated along with updated banking information (if applicable). If you need to change the legal name of business and/or change the ownership on the account, a new application will need to be submitted because these changes can have legal liability implications for AngelPay and our banking partners.
